New Adventure at Royal Museums Greenwich

New year and a new start at the Royal Museums Greenwich as Development Events Officer. I’m now working on fundraising, cultivation, member and corporate events for RMG as well as some big hitters like the opening of The Moon special exhibition in June and the Insight Investment Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2019 Awards Ceremony in September.

It’s been a change of pace but a spectacular change of scenery, across four sites – The National Maritime Museum,  The Queen’s House, The Cutty Sark and The Royal Observatory. Still finding my feet but so far have had the pleasure of hosting at the objects store and collections centre, lunch at the QH Orangery and a very special reception at the Observatory where we were lucky with the weather and got to open the dome on the Great Equatorial Telescope to look at Mars!

Not to mention the museum sponsors free staff life drawing classes – but let’s wait until I get my hand back to show the results!
