RMG Live: Exposure: Live at Sea, digital exhibition opening
Royal Museums Greenwich latest exhibition Exposure: Lives at Sea was due to open to the public on 20 November, with special access to museum supporters on the 19th. With Lockdown 2 firmly in place by November and the museum not expected to re-open until December, we thought we’d go ahead and offer a sneak preview online instead.
Exposure: Live at Sea features the work of six photographers who lead fascinating lives at sea - Cezar Gabriel, Corey Arnold, Dr Jennifer Adler, Michał Krzysztofowicz, Peter Iain Campbell and Dr Octavio Aburto.
Each photographer had pre-recorded interviews for the exhibition, which I stitched together under the themes of What the Ocean Means, Environment, Isolation, and the Effect of COVID-19 before handing over to Wolfpack Productions for professional finishing.
Wolfpack came on-site for one day of COVID-secure filming with RMG Director Paddy Rodgers and exhibition curator Laura Boon, Lloyd’s Register Foundation Public Curator: Contemporary Maritime. Members of the exhibition team, Helena Liszka, Céline Dalcher, Abi Green and Rob Hickerton contributed video’s discussing their experience of building an exhibition during lockdown.

With Chris Rithin from Wolfpack turning around the edit in record speed, we streamed the film live via Zoom Webinar for supporters, followed by a Q&A and Paddy and Laura on the evening of 20 November.
Thanks to my colleague in RMG marketing for collaborating on this event.
