RMG Live: David Abulafia in conversation - The Boundless Sea: A Human History of the Oceans

Back to work, and not a moment too soon! Like most of my colleagues in events, I was placed on furlough through much of the summer. I was called back in early July, conveniently right after Camberwell Arts Festival to work on primarily digital events for the development team.

The first of these “RMG Lives” was an in-conversation between Director Paddy Rodgers and Professor David Abulafia regarding his recent book. Professor Abulafia’s book, 'The Boundless Sea: A Human History of the Oceans’, had recently been awarded The Wolfson History Prize 2020.

On 05 August Professor Abulafia joined Paddy for a chat over Zoom Webinar, to discuss the history of seafaring and navigation across the globe. Streamed live to RMG members and retained exclusively for members and patrons for a month.

Thanks to Ben McCluskey from Midas PR for collaborating on this event.
